How the depth grid was built

1. OWRB's 1999 sonar points (3,495 measured depths, referenced to the 1,191-ft pool; stated vertical accuracy ±0.1 ft), the 5-ft contour lines (0–90 ft) and the shoreline polygon were loaded in OWRB's coordinate system (NAD83 Oklahoma North, US feet) (OWRB).
2. I sampled the shoreline as 0 ft every 40 ft and densified the contour vertices, then interpolated everything linearly onto a 15-ft grid clipped to the lake analysis. Result: 2,561 acres, max 92.9 ft (the deepest single sounding is 93.5 ft), mean 34.9 ft.
3. Spot metrics (distances to 20, 30 and 40 ft, deepest within 300 ft, slope) are measured on that grid analysis.

Known gaps

• Survey age. 1999, 27 years ago. Sediment may have filled the coves a little since then unverified.
• Between transects. Depths between sounding lines are interpolated. Small humps or brush piles between lines won't show up analysis.
• Fish data. The newest public ODWC survey I found is from 1999. There is no published lake record and no documented Florida-bass stocking unverified.
• Restricted zones. Specific intake or plant exclusion boundaries are not published online unverified.
• Ramps. OSM ramp positions are matched to the City's Point numbers by inference inference.
• Bottom type. Not mapped; OWRB describes it as "generally sandy clay" unverified.
